This presentation will provide a comprehensive update on the latest advancements in Ultra-Deep Submicron (UDSM) technologies, reinforcing European sovereignty in space electronics. It will cover key developments in supply chain resilience, foundational technology platforms, and strategic collaborations between the European Space Agency, European Commission, and European Defense Agency. The focus will be on UDSM N7 technology, including General-Purpose Processors (GPP), Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA), digital beamforming, high-performance computing, and advanced system-in-package solutions. Special attention will be given to the role of RISC-V in next-generation space-grade processors, highlighting the development of scalable architectures and IP building blocks tailored for demanding space applications.
